So excited to share this dreamy editorial from my trip to New Orleans. This editorial was during my first visit to New Orleans. I had always heard that New Orleans was rich in culture, but it truly was an amazing experience. We stayed in the French Quarter, and there was so much to take in. The architecture, the food, the music, and the stories were such an incredible experience.
This editorial is inspired by iridescence as found in nature. Violet, sage, aquamarine, blush, and elements of pearl tie together to create a feeling that’s whimsical and natural.
Heidi Elnora’s gown and Davie & Chiyo’s Sofie hair adornment, reminiscent of a frond of wisteria, add touches of iridescent pearls. The bride’s garden-gathered bouquet feels untamed and romantic. Wax seals pressed with fresh petals, a hand-painted invitation, and watercolored wisteria come together to create an intimately bespoke suite.
