THE SWAN HOUSE IN ATLANTA
The inspiration for this Swan House wedding design was the fluttering of a butterfly’s wings. The vision to emulate the butterfly was lively, with fluttery blooms swaying in the wind, breezy textiles, the bride’s windswept hair, and petite butterflies at each place setting.
In this spring color palette, saturated pops of château rose, primrose yellow, and cherry act as focal tones with the support of blush, butter, lilac, and dusty blue as canvas tones. While unique and colorful, this palette still reads as soft, romantic, and timely for spring.
Both Alexandra Grecco wedding gowns are reminiscent of the butterfly. Their plunging necklines act as a subtle nod to the silhouette of the butterfly. Tessa Pinner’s cake design studies fluttering of the butterfly’s wings in shades of lilac and blush, and glazed handmade plates in hues of pale blue mimic an inviting flower on which to land.
For couples seeking a European-inspired wedding venue stateside, a Swan House wedding offers old world charm in the heart of Atlanta.
